New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio Says He'll Still Boycott Amazon
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio praised the news that one of Amazon's new headquarters would be in Long Island City.
In a joint press conference with New York Gov.
Andrew Cuomo, de Blasio said it was "an extraordinary day for Queens."
In 2017, de Blasio said that Amazon "is very destructive to communities."
He also revealed that he's never purchased anything from Amazon.
On Tuesday he confirmed that he's "old school" and won't be ending his Amazon boycott anytime soon.
