The course will be closed to the general public as the two play a winner-take-all $9 million dollar duel.
Turner Sports will charge viewers in the United States $19.99 to watch the 18-hole, $9 million "winner-take-all" showdown between the two golf greats.
Both golfers and their caddies will be mic'd up and promoters promise side bets to spice up the action throughout the competition.
Mickelson opened the wagering at the news conference betting Woods 100,000 dollars he would birdie the first hole.
Woods promptly doubled the bet to 200,000.
The friendly banter ended with a championship boxing type face-off with both golfers trying hard to keep a serious composure.
Woods has won 14 major championships, trailing only Jack Nicklaus on the all-time list, while Mickelson has collected five majors.Woods recently ended a five-year victory drought by winning the season-ending Tour Championship on the PGA Tour.
