Mud Flows Into the Sea at California State Park

Mud and water poured down from the mountains above Malibu, California, on Thursday, December 6, sweeping debris from the Woolsey Fire burn scar toward the ocean and shutting down the Pacific Coast Highway in spots.

This video shows mud and debris reaching the ocean at Leo Carrillo State Park near Mulholland Highway.

In higher elevations, the same storm that brought the rain to the coast brought heavy snow.
