Wreaths Laid on Veterans' Graves in Time for the Holidays
15 is National Wreaths Across America Day.
Volunteers honor those who served by laying wreaths at their graves.
It started in 1992 when Morrill Worcester, who is in the wreath business, had a truckload of excess ornaments.
What was originally a simple idea to honor veterans has turned into a national movement.
Now the program continues with more than 1,400 locations participating in all 50 states and abroad.
