Serbians March Through Belgrade To Protest Violence Against Opposition Politician
Tens of thousands of protesters braved the snow to march through Belgrade, Serbia, on Saturday, December 15, in a rally against attacks on opposition politicians.
The demonstration was organised by the Alliance For Serbia opposition coalition in protest against a November 23 attack on Borko Stefanovic, the leader of the Serbian Left party, Radio Free Europe reported.
Protesters called for the resignation of President Aleksandar Vucic outside his office in the capital.
Opposition leaders have pledged further protests will be held in January.
