VIDEO: Alaskan man admits to making threats against Lafayette College

First at 5... the alaska man the fbi says is behind a series of bomb threats sent to lafayette college in easton has also confessed to a car bombing... according to federal prosecutors.

Today...the fbi thanked law enforcement for their help in tracking him down.

Federal prosecutors say threatening lafayette college is just one of many crimes casdorph is accused of committing.

Old gavin casdorph of anchorage, alaska admitted to using email and social media to make threats to lafayette college last may.

He told investigators he was playing an online game when another user asked him to send the anonymous threat.

Investigators say the second user and a third gamer, who was a lafayette student, had gotten into an argument.

Casdorph was arrested at his grandparents home in anchorage, last week.

According to alaskan tv station ktuu, casdorph was recently discharged from the navy and described by prosecutors in a bail hearing on tuesday as "unstable and radicalized."

According to ktuu, investigators told a federal judge in alaska that the threats against lafayette are just a few of the crimes casdorph is accused of committing.

The fbi says casdorph also confessed to a car bombing, plotting to kill the e?girlfriend of an online gaming friend, plotting to kill his grandparents, and also had connections to swatting threats made to a university in canada the threats casdorph allegedly made to lafayette college in may forced the school to change their graduation plans.

During a press conference, the fbi praised the college's handling of the threat and emphasized that such crimes will be fully prosecuted.

If we catch you swatting you may soon be squatting in a federal prison."
