Zags women's basketball defeat the Idaho Vandals

The gonzaga are off to another great start to their season and are ranked in the top 25 with only one loss, at the time to the number one team in the nation...at home taking on the idaho vandals..and look kids..it's vandal legend alyssa charslton supporting her old team...it would be a long night for the silver and gold---gonzaga comes out hitting from everywhere...zyke ra rice very efficient night..hits the turnaround jumper...she had 16 points in 16 minutes tonight.---- bulldogs on the run..chandler smith on the mini-break stops and pops..gets the home court bounce..she had 11 points... ----gonzaga with a big size advantage...and they used it...jen wirth with the baseline jumper..double double for her...zags up big...--- vandals trying to hang around..they go to mikayla ferenz..nice drive off the glass..she led the vandals with 14----but it wouldn't really matter tonight..when gonzaga is hitting their shots, they are really tough to beat...jessie loera knocks down the three ball...---and they pretty much put this away in the first half..laura stockton on the break takes it all the way herself... gonzaga up 25 at the half, and they cruise from there...88-51 the final..zags improve to 10-1 on
