One Dead, Two Hospitalised After Lost Paradise Music Festival in New South Wales
One person died and two others were hospitalised after taking an “unknown substance” at the Lost Paradise music festival in Glenworth Valley on Saturday, December 29, New South Wales Police said in a statement.
A 22-year-old Queensland man was taken to Gosford Hospital at about 8pm on Saturday, but died shortly afterwards, a police spokesman said.
Two other people, one man and one woman, were treated in hospital after ingesting an unknown substance and becoming sick after, he added.
They were reported to be in a stable condition.
An estimated crowd of 11,000 people attended the Lost Paradise Music Festival at Glenworth Valley, 20 kilometres west of Gosford.

The five-day festival commenced on Friday, December 28.
As of Sunday morning, a total of 184 people and 97 vehicles were searched by police.
About 50 people had been issued with Field Court Attendance Notices for drug possession while seven cannabis cautions had been issued.
Three people were charged with drug supply offences.
