Ducati 1098R first ride
Ducati's new 1098R is the closest thing the Italian firm has ever produced to a full-blooded World Superbike racer.
Costing £24,000 it has a 186bhp, 1200cc engine, top quality cycle parts, and for the first time ever on a road bike: traction control.
Senior Road Tester Michael Neeves travelled to the Ducati's world launch in Jerez to check it out.
