Rivalry week in GSL tips off with a pair of sweeps

Rivalry week for high school tipped off friday with a few spirit games in our area...this week...it's on like donkey kong..tonight we head up north for the cat fight between mead and mt.

Spokane.---on the girls side the undefeated mt.

Spokane wildcats out to a nice lead...aspyn adams knocks down the three ball..she had 17 points tonight...wildcats up double digits.----they add on...jayda noble with the steal..shows some patience..and knocks down the jumper..2 of her 14.---mead trying to claw their way back..jordan mattox with the drive and banks it in before the shot clock..but way too much mt.

Spokane tonight, they win it 64-41 on the boys side..mt.

Spokane trying to stay a game behind gonzaga prep for first place--- but mead jumps out to the early lead...brandon schoff with the nice finish..panthers up a pair.---but the wildcats would turn up the defense...j-t smith with the steal...nice finger roll finish...mt.

Spokane with the lead.---and they roll tonight...more of the same...great defense by spencer barrera...and he knows how to finish...almost gets the dunk..does get the bucket..

Mt.

Spokane finishes off the sweep..they win it 73-46 to the spokane arena for shoes..north central and shadle park----shadle's girls down early, trying to stay in it...katelyn pom-er-ink-ee with the deep three...that cuts into the north central lead----but the indians were strong tonight...nice pass to kyara (ky-ara) sayers..nice lefty finish...north central building a big lead----and they put it away..quincy mcdeid (mc-dayd) for three from the corner..she had 21 points tonightnorth central wins the girls game 61-26 and on the boys side...really loud in the arena tonight as you can imagine...--- highlanders looking to avenge the loss on the girls side..it's jake groves with the sweeping floater in the lane...----but the indians had the answers tonight...nice give and go to parish neil...lefty finish..north central with the lead---and every time the highlanders got close...leon sayers had the answer..three of his game high 26 points.... and north central sweeps the groovy shoes they win the girls game, the boys game, and the yelling contest....4th straight year for
