Leslie Jones Slams Plans For New 'Ghostbusters' Movie

Comedian Leslie Jones has criticized plans for a new “Ghostbusters” movie, which would ignore the franchise’s female-centric 2016 iteration.

According to The Huffington Post, Sony Pictures announced that it had tapped Jason Reitman to direct an all-new “Ghostbusters” that would follow the timeline of the 1984 original.

Jones took to Twitter to call the move "so insulting" and “like something Trump would do.” The original "Ghostbusters" starred Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis.
