Report: Jayme Closs' Alleged Kidnapper Held Christmas Party While She Was Hiding in Another Room
A Christmas party was being thrown in the same house where the kidnapped teenager Jayme Closs was being held, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.????Wisconsin teenager Jayme Closs escaped from her alleged abductor Jake Patterson’s house in January after being held captive for almost 3 months following the fatal shooting of her parents.????Sources speaking to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel say that before her escape, Closs was forced to hide under a bed and remain quiet while Patterson hosted a holiday gathering for family and friends.????Reportedly Patterson warned Jayme “that if she made a noise or tried to escape, he would kill her.”????Closs was imprisoned under Patterson’s bed, surrounded by weighted containers that hid her from sight and made escape difficult.????Patterson has confessed to kidnapping Closs and killing her parents.
There is no indication that Patterson’s family was aware Closs was in the home while they attended the party.
