Backstreet’s been telling us they’re back for YEARS.
And it’s time we start believing them, all right?????Because the Backstreet Boys just landed their first number 1 album on the Billboard 200 since ‘Black & Blue’ nearly two decades ago.????And it’s not a fluke, like when Drake’s Scorpion album took the top spot with just 29,000 copies one week last summer.????With it’s lead single “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” ‘DNA’ earned 234,000 equivalent album units in the US — and all but 7,000 of that was actual album sales -- according to Nielsen Music.????For reference, the soundtrack for “A Star Is Born” debuted with 231,000 units in October…????So no one’s playing games with anybody’s heart.????Nick, how are you feeling about the Billboard 200 right now?????The 18+ year gap between No.
