New Mexico Governor Withdraws National Guard Troops From Border
Michelle Lujan Grisham made the announcement just before Trump's State of the Union address on Tuesday.
Michelle Lujan Grisham, via statement 118 National Guard troops have been deployed at New Mexico's southern border since April 2018.
Grisham also directed 25 troops from other states to pull back from New Mexico's border.
The governor said about a dozen troops will remain at the state's southwestern border.
