Tesla Rejects Blame For Model X Crash

The driver of a Tesla Model X told New Jersey police he veered off the road and crashed because the Autopilot system malfunctioned.

According to Digital Trends, Tesla denies the claims. The accident occurred late at night on Sunday, February 10.

The driver said he was using Autopilot when the car “got confused due to the lane markings." The driver also told the police that he tried to regain control of the vehicle but couldn’t override Autopilot.
