Norwegian Cruise Ship Collides With Dock in San Juan

A Norwegian Cruise Line ship collided with two mooring points while docking at a port off San Juan, Puerto Rico on February 12.Video of the incident was captured by passenger Doug Brown.The Norwegian Cruise Line ship with a reported 4,000 guests aboard shattered parts of a pier in San Juan.

The vessel left Port Canaveral for a seven-day eastern Caribbean cruise on February 9, according to reports.A spokesperson for Norwegian Cruise Line said: “Prevailing winds caused the ship to veer towards the pier, damaging two mooring points at Pier 3 East.”No injuries were reported.
