Kremlin Says He Wants Action In Idlib, No Plans Yet

Reuters reports President Vladimir Putin said Thursday that Russia, Turkey and Iran had agreed to take steps to clear Syria’s Idlib region of what he called “a hotbed of terrorists." Putin, a close ally of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, hosted a summit in Russia to discuss the future of Syria with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

The three countries each have forces on the ground in Syria.
