The law will take effect on January 1, 2021.

Non-profits, pawn shops and
secondhand stores can still sell
fur that's been used before.
Fur can also be transported through Los Angeles from an area outside city limits.
Since fur sales in LA are not recorded, it isn't yet known if the ban will cause any harm economically.
