According to a report by Reuters, amid a crisis of introspection on the eve of the latest parliamentary vote regarding Brexit, wartime hero Winston Churchill was placed in the dock of public discourse for his role in handling a miners' strike over 100 years ago.
John McDonnell, the opposition Labour Party’s second most powerful man, pulled Churchill into the maelstrom, branding him a 'villain' for his suppression of striking miners in 1910.
