Idris Elba to Host 'SNL' Next Month

Idris Elba to Host 'SNL' Next Month Live from New York, it's Idris Elba hosting for the first time.

The actor will make his 'Saturday Night Live' debut on March 9.

He will be joined by musical guest Khalid, who will also be making his first 'SNL' appearance.

Elba will be promoting his new Netflix comedy series, 'Turn Up Charlie,' which premieres March 15.

Elba recently won People’s 2018 Sexiest Man Alive.

He will also be making his DJ debut at Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival this April.

'SNL' returns with new episodes on March 2, when John Mulaney will host with musical guest Thomas Rhett.
