Tesla’s Model 3 Customer Reliability Issues Lead to Downgrade By Consumer Reports

After receiving a large number of complaints about the Tesla Model 3’s reliability, Consumer Report is no longer recommending the car.

????A group of over 500 of the car’s owners reported problems with the quality of paint and trim, faulty infotainment system displays and glass defects.

????Consumer Report purchased a car for testing and said that a crack did appear in the car’s rear window.

????Ironically, the downgrade is happening less than a month after Consumer Report named the Model 3 the most satisfying car to own.

????The company’s senior director of auto testing said, “...when a vehicle has an enthusiastic following, like with Tesla, owners may overlook some issues.”????A Tesla spokesperson told Consumer Reports that “the vast majority of these issues have already been corrected…”??
