According to Reuters, top U.S. and Chinese trade negotiators met on Friday to wrap up a week of talks that have seen the two sides struggle over the details of structural reform commitments by China.

If the two sides fail to reach a deal, U.S. President Donald Trump is scheduled to raise tariffs to 25 percent on $200 billion of Chinese imports into the United States.

Sources said that Trump will meet with Chinese Vice Premier Liu He at the Oval Office later on Friday.
