Trump’s Border Wall Needs Additional $8.6 Billion in Funding

President Trump is expected to ask for an additional $8.6 billion to fund the border wall between the U.S. and Mexico border as part of the White House annual budget proposal to Congress.

The Trump Administration has already secured $8.1 billion for the border wall through congressional legislation and reprogrammed funds.

This new money would allow for construction of 722 miles of barrier wall at the border.
