Daniels And Avenatti Part Ways
On Tuesday, Michael Avenatti said his law firm was no longer representing the adult film actress Stormy Daniels.
This ends a partnership that led to charges of campaign-finance violations against Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer.
Avenatti said his office terminated its legal representation of Daniels on Feb.
Avenatti said the relationship ended for “various reasons that we cannot disclose publicly due to the attorney-client privilege.”
Politico reports that Daniels has a new attorney, Clark Brewster.
Late last year Avenatti and Daniels had a public spat.
Daniels told The Daily Beast that Avenatti had filed a defamation lawsuit against Trump and Cohen without her permission.
