Britain Could Ask For Brexit Delay Before Deadline

Reuters reports that lawmakers in Britain may ask the European Union for a delay on Brexit, indicating that the exact moment for the stalled separation agreement might still be some time ahead.

The remaining 27 EU member states after Brexit would need to come to a unanimous decision to allow Britain's request for a delay beyond the current leave date of March 29 at midnight.

EU diplomats told reporters on Monday, that the national leaders of the 27 remaining EU countries would not need to meet physically to approve the request.
