Missouri Governor Declares State Of Emergency Due To Flooding

Reuters reports Missouri’s governor declared a state of emergency on Thursday as floodwaters from Nebraska and Iowa made their way downstream.

Flooding due to the “bomb cyclone” storm in the U.S. Midwest has inflicted damage estimated at nearly $1.5 billion in Nebraska.

The flooding also killed at least four people in Nebraska and Iowa and left a man missing below Nebraska’s collapsed Spencer Dam.
