Al Porteous decided to introduce his daughter, two-year-old Addison, to the hallowed springtime tradition of March Madness brackets.

He was curious to see how she would fare, “since it’s usually people who don’t know anything about sports that win.” Addison wisely chose to back No 1 seeds Duke against North Dakota State in their first game.

However, it didn’t take long for her interest to wane, with Porteous returning to find her ripping up her bracket.

“What happened to your bracket?” he asked.
