China's New Interest In Ford Trucks

Reuters reports that a growing number of Chinese consumers are buying pick up trucks.

The new interest is expanding the market beyond traditional demand for farm, construction and maintenance work.

Last year, thanks to easing government restrictions, China became the world’s second-biggest pickup truck market.

Signs this year that rules may be loosening further are prompting Great Wall Motor Co, China’s largest pickup manufacturer, and Ford Motor Co, the maker of the most popular U.S.
