A woman a woman from terre haute is receiving some recognition for her art.

"ginny payne" is a winner in the "hoosier women artists competition."

Her winning piece is called "more than co-exist."

It's a "floating wood design."

The piece says "love one another."

Symbols representing religion and peace make up the letters.

Payne told us she got her inspiration from a bumper sticker.

I feel like we can do better as humanity, i think we can do more than just be neighbors with one another..

I feel like can love one another and really make community and be kind.

"38" other women are also winners for this year.
