Pope Francis Tells Moroccan Catholic Community To Live 'In Brotherhood' With Other Faiths
Pope Francis visited Morocco and spoke to a small Catholic community in a predominantly Muslim area.
He told them their mission was to live in brotherhood with other faiths and not try to convert them.
According to Reuters, he used the trip to highlight “inter-faith dialogue.” The pope supports Moroccan King Mohammed VI’s efforts to reject violence in God’s name.
Instead the Moroccan king wants to spread a form of Islam that promotes inter-religious dialogue.
