In Aftermath Of Notre-Dame Blaze, Macron Says Pope Will Visit France

French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that Pope Francis would at an undetermined time visit France.

The country was plunged into sorrow this week by a catastrophic fire at the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral.

Earlier this week, Pope Francis expressed his sorrow over the blaze and thanked rescuers who salvaged the centuries-old cathedral and its priceless artifacts.

He said he was eager to see it restored.
