Markets Are Up On Last Day Of Short Week

According to Reuters, the markets on Wall Street ended the day trading higher.

On April 18th, the Dow Jones led gains on the New York Stock Exchange.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose to 26,559, adding about 110-points of gains.

The S&P 500 added about 5-points, while the Nasdaq Composite tacked on 2-points.

For the S&P, eight of its top eleven sectors were trading higher, led by gains on the industrial sector.

But the S&P's healthcare index fell for a third consecutive day.
