According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido called on his supporters to take to the streets on May first to take part in what he called 'the largest march in the history' of the South American country to increase pressure on President Nicolas Maduro to resign.

Guaido reportedly reiterated his call for the country's armed forces to take his side as the nation's power struggle stretches on into its third month.
