Hillary Clinton: Mueller Report is an Impeachment 'Road Map'
Although Hillary Clinton admits she may not be the right messenger, given her history with President Trump…????...the former Democratic presidential nominee is calling Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report a “road map” for Congress to continue investigating the president.
????In a Washington Post op-ed, Clinton said the report made several definitive conclusions that quote...????...our election was corrupted, our democracy assaulted, our sovereignty and security violated.????The Former First-Lady relied on her own personal experience with impeachment hearings as a young staff attorney on the House Judiciary Committee’s Watergate impeachment inquiry in 1974, as well as the impeachment process for her husband, Former President, Bill Clinton in 1998.????...But she cautions Democrats against rushing to file impeachment proceedings...????...recalling how in 1998, the Republican-led House rushed to judgment--saying that it was a mistake then and would be a mistake now and that Watergate offers a better precedent.
????Mueller’s highly anticipated 448-page report did not establish that the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia to influence the 2016 Presidential election and it did not charge Trump with obstruction of justice, BUT it did not not exonerate the president either.
After Congressman Justin Amash became the first sitting GOP member of Congress to call for President Trump to be impeached, a former GOP lawmaker is following his lead in a new op-ed in the Kansas City..
