The Most Expensive Cities for Business Travel Will Make You Feel Broke

The Big Apple can take a big bite out of your company’s bottom line, so hopefully your boss is covering the bill.????New York City has once again topped the list of most expensive cities for business travel in 2019.????Blame the expensive transportation – a taxi to and from the airport and around town – expensive restaurants and outrageous hotel prices; which come in at around $512 on average.????Take it from the experts at ECA International.????After crunching the numbers, they said average business travel costs add up to $799 a day in New York City.????Here are the ECA’s 5 most expensive locations at the estimated daily rate.????Swiss cities like Geneva and Zurich are near the top.????Washington D.C.

Jumped up the list to number 4, the city was number 8 last year.????As for the rest of the list, West Coast cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles are new entries, in 7th and 9th place respectively.????Two more Swiss cities round out the top 10.????Just to be clear, CNN says ECA’s ranking looked at average prices for a four-star hotel.????Be thankful if that’s the case for you, and not a spot near the airport.
