China Backs Out And Will Get More Tariffs From The US

Top U.S. trade officials said China backed out of commitments they made during trade talks with the U.S. This caused President Donald Trump to impose additional tariffs on Chinese goods.

According to Reuters, the new tariffs are set to go into effect on May 10.

Instead of ending the trade war between the two markets, negotiations are taking a sour turn.

Trump said he would raise tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods to 25 percent from 10 percent.
