North Korea's Projectiles Were Likely Short-Range Missiles

Reuters reports, on Thursday, North Korea fired off some projectiles.

According to South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), the projectiles were probably short-range missiles.

The two missiles traveled 420 km (261 miles) and 270 km (168 miles) towards the east.

The JCS said detailed analysis was being carried out in cooperation with U.S. intelligence authorities.

Heightened security is being maintained against further possible missile launches.
