Trump Postpones Imported Auto Tariffs For Six Months

The White House has announced that it will hold off on deciding whether to impose steep tariffs on cars entering the US.

According to Business Insider, the tariffs are expected to raise the price of vehicles by thousands of dollars.

Last year, the Center for Automotive Research released a report stating that Trump's proposed tariffs would add up to $6,875 on average to the price of a vehicle and put hundreds of thousands of jobs in the sector at risk.
