There's not an abortion *clinic in middle georgia.
The nearest one is in atlanta.
But abortions can still be done at hospitals.
District attorney david cooke says under the heartbeat law, someone could argue that a woman, doctor, and others involved can be charged with conspiracy or criminal attempt to get an abortion... for example, when dealing with miscarriages.
He says this law calls for women to be investigated if they have miscarriages.
Cooke says the law is unconsitutional.
"if a person were to take a dru that causes their miscarriage then technically they can be charged with violating the abortion law if someone accused them of taking that on person to cause the miscarriage
