Oklahoma AG Says Johnson & Johnson's Deceptive Marketing Drove Opioid Crisis

According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, the state of Oklahoma accused Johnson and Johnson of using deceptive marketing to create an oversupply of addictive painkillers that drove the US opioid epidemic, at the beginning of the first trial in lawsuits over the ongoing drug crisis.

The trial in the multi-billion dollar case is reportedly the first to result from around 2,000 similar lawsuits against opioid manufacturers across the country.
