Storm threat eases but forecasters predict severe weather next week

The tornadoes and heavy rains that have rocked parts of the U.S. this week will subside by late Thursday but resume early next week.

According to forecasters, rain, hail, thunderstorms and the threat of tornadoes will return from east Texas and stretch to parts of the East Coast.

According to Reuters, numerous tornadoes touched down in Kansas on Tuesday evening resulting in damaged homes and down power lines.
