The Talk - Carrie Ann Inaba and Eve on Being 'tomboys' to Avoid Men
Friday on "The Talk" Carrie Ann Inaba reveals why she played down her femininity and looks as a child.
"When I was a child I was molested," shares Inaba.
"I thought it was because I was attractive.
You get a lot of attention when you're young and you're a cute little girl, and people come up to you, men included, boys included and sometimes the advances are unwanted.
And I think because of that, I really grew up kind of more like a tomboy.
I would look in the mirror and be like, 'I like this' and then I would do something to make it uglier, on purpose." Eve adds, "I think I noticed men looking at me... when I was like 11, 12, and I noticed that I didn't like it.
It was really weird to me, so I did become a tomboy, too."
