Virginia Governor Calls For New Gun Control Laws After Deadly Mass Shooting

Viriginia's Democratic Governor Ralph Northam has called for a special legislative session to consider new gun control laws in the wake of an office massacre of 12 people.

During a news conference four days after the shooting, Northam said, β€œIt is wrong, it is outrageous, it is unforgivable to turn our municipal centers, our schools, our churches and synagogues and mosques, into battlefields.
