White House Is Briefed On Gulf of Oman Attack

According to Reuters, the White House said in a statement on Thursday that the United States will continue assessing the situation in the Gulf of Oman following an attack on two oil tankers.

Two tankers were targeted Thursday morning in the Gulf of Oman, which is the same waterway where four commercial ships were attacked last month.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said that U.S. President Donald Trump “has been briefed on the attack on ships in the Gulf of Oman.
