Kim Kardashian Speaks About Criminal Justice at White House Kim Kardashian returned to the White House on
June 14 to appear alongside President Trump and
discuss their latest work for reformed criminals.
She spoke about her experience getting involved
in criminal justice and thanked Trump for his
support and passage of the First Step Act in 2018.
According to a recent report, more than
1,000 federal inmates have had their sentences
reduced because of the First Step Act.
Kim also used her time to introduce her new
initiative with Lyft, which will provide previously
incarcerated people with Lyft gift cards.
The gift cards are intended to assist people with transportation to and from job interviews, workplaces and family visits.
