I just, I just want to hoop.

Like, whether they made those changes or not, I'm still going out there.

I'm just excited to be out there.

I just want to play basketball pretty much." 5.

MEDIA 6.

(SOUNDBITE) (English) NBA DRAFT PROSPECT, ZION WILLIAMSON, SAYING: "Personally, I would say I think I got better with everything because I'm still 18, and I don't ever want to be a finished product.

My three-point shot improved a lot over the season, started off a little rough but improved a lot towards the end.

And I think my ability to adjust to the game - from high school to college - changed a lot.

And just, I think one thing I'm good at is my will to win.

I feel like when I want to win, I'll do things.

I'll do whatever I need to do to win." 7.

NBA DRAFT 2019 BANNER STORY: Projected No.

1 draft pick Zion Williamson said he is still improving as an athlete, but is ready to play in the NBA.

"I'm still 18 and I don't ever want to be a finished product," he said during a media availability in New York City on Wednesday (June 19) one day ahead of the June 20 draft.

The New Orleans Pelicans are expected to select Williamson with the No.

1 overall pick.

"I'm such a simple dude.

I just want to hoop," he said.

"I just want to be in the NBA.

I didn't have a favorite team growing up.

Just to be in the NBA is all I ask for.

Wherever team I end up, I know that I would give them all." During Williamson's one season at Duke University, the 6-foot-7 power forward played in 33 games for the Blue Devils, averaging 22.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game while shooting 68 percent from the field.

He was also the NCAA Player of the Year.

If selected by the Pelicans, Williamson could be the player in which vice president of basketball operations David Griffin could build a winning team in the Western Conference.
