Cruise Ship Rescues 111 Migrants Off of Peloponnese Peninsula

The cruise ship Marella Discovery rescued 111 migrants from a boat off the coast of Pylos on the Greek Peloponnese Peninsula on July 20, according to the Hellenic Coast Guard.

The coast guard said that the migrants, 68 men, 10 women, 29 underage boys and 4 underage girls, were brought to the town of Kalamata.

Two operators of the boat carrying the migrants were arrested.
