Iran's state TV release video from onboard seized British-flagged tanker
Iran's state TV has released video from onboard the British-flagged tanker, Stena Impero, that was seized by Tehran in the Strait of Hormuz on July 19.
Iran said the ship had violated international navigation regulations.
The seizure came amid heightened tensions between the US and Iran stemming from President Donald Trump's decision last year to pull the US from Iran's nuclear accord with world powers and reinstate sweeping sanctions on Iran.
Britain is considering a number of options to raise the economic and diplomatic pressure on Iran but officials say military operations are not being considered at the moment.
