Russia Demands Google Not Interfere With Protests Taking Place

Russia demanded Google cease promoting livestreams of demonstrations with push notifications.

This comes after thousands of Russians staged its biggest political protest for eight years.

According to Gizmodo, Russia warned Google that the Russian Federation will think of it as “interference” to their sovereign affairs.

With this warning they said they will have the right “to an adequate reaction.” Al Jazeera reported the protest being streamed on Google was approved by the Russian government.
