Hong Kong Protesters Urge Boycotting Disney's Mulan Remake

Hong Kong faces political turmoil with anti-government protesters clashing with the police.

According to Gizmodo, the Disney “Mulan” remake has become involved with this turmoil.

The Chinese-American actress playing the protagonist, Liu Yifei, is behind the problem.

In an image on Weibo, China’s social media platform, Yifei said she supports Hong Kong’s police.

Now a movement to boycott the film has begun, claiming she supports police brutality.
